well, the Advertising standards agancy has today rejected complaints about an advert for Kentucky Fried Chicken, despite the fact they have received a record number of complaints about the advert. Apparently, the advert in question shows call centre staff singing with their mouthes full of KFC. So, would you complain about an advert you didn't like? is there an advert currently on tv which you hate intensely? or do you think, as I do, that there is an on off switch on your tv, and if you don't like what you see, you don't have to watch it. I have to say that KFC have achieved one thing from all of this. People might not like the advert, but it has generated them more publicity than they could possibly have wished for!
Well, the way I see it, is people have a choice as to whether or not they wish to watch the advertizement, so if they chose to watch it and discovered it was something they didn't like, that's on them. I agree there are some stupid comercials being aired today, but I don't see how calling and complaining about them is going to get them taken off the air.
I think a lot of people just like to draw attention to themselves, and that's probably the main reason they're calling and complaining about a simple advertizement.
No as I have the option of changing the channel
